Someone who cares...
Hi all,
I lost my mother last July and she dearly loved her RX-8. I'm trying to find it a good home and found this forum. I know there's an enthusiast following so it feels like I should be able to find someone through these boards that will love her car at least as much as she did. I understand I need to have some genuine, if minor, clout to post here. I absolutely appreciate that as someone that grew up as boards developed, it's a good way to cut riff raff, and protect a community, so here I am posting some love. Hopefully I'll be able to post in the FS soon - but here are some details. It's a white 2005 2d with ~52,000 miles on it. Only ever dealer serviced, and I have all the receipts. It has some minor body dings and unfortunately a dash cracked from the Texas sun. It does have a faulty transmission sensor, which from my understanding is cheap to fix, but sits really closely to something else very expensive to fix and easily broken while trying to replace the transmission sensor, so it never got replaced.
In any case, it was very loved, so hoping to find it a good home!
Edit: Automatic with paddles.

Sorry for your loss. July sucks for my family as well. My mother in law, my dad, and his oldest sister all died in July.
If I had funds, I would love to help you out, but you came to the right place to find someone that could.

Thanks, and condolences for your loss. There seem to be a lot of good people here so I'm very hopeful!
