stalling in hot temp?

A few months back I posted how my 2004 8 was giving me stall issues about once or twice a month, but wasn't having any other issues and always started back up fine. I ordered and changed my spark plugs, wires, and coils. I also cleaned the MAF and throttle body. Was hard to diagnose as it didn't happen every time I drove. About a month after changing them, it happened again.... And a couple more times after that, but not any more often than it had before. I finally put some other things together to when it was happening. At night, when its cool, she drives like a beaut, but during really hot days, where I have to drive 50+ miles, she begins a slight 'shake' that disappears when I turn AC off and occasionally stalls once I come to a stop. Using a little gas while stopped seems to prevent it from stalling. Again, it doesn't happen every time I drive in the heat, but the longer I do, the more likely it seems to happen. My car just rolled over 120,000 om. No lights come on dash, and it doesn't seem matter If I'm on a full tank or 1/4. Possibly fuel pump? I live an hour and a half from the closest dealer and would like to fix the problem myself, if possible. Any suggestions are appreciated.
