Stupid question

So I'm trying to figure out what to do to my 2007 rx8 to make it go faster, and my co-worker tells me to " get bort plates" and I know it's a stupid question but what do they do and where do I get them?

A simple google would have answered your questions. Now,to save you some embarassment, tell us more about your RX8. Is it stock? Have you kept up on work needed? Constant oil changes? New plugs and good coils (either OEM or a high quality aftermarket?) Is the compression good?

Ignition health, coolant, and depending upon mileage - transmission/diff fluids changes. Use a high quality oil filter and SN-grade oil and change often. Cheapskates to maintenance on this wonderful sports car will suffer in large repair bills later. Pay a little now or pay a lot later.
