Tinted windows and cops

Just got my car a month ago and have already been pulled over for tinted windows.

What is Iowa's state law on the matter? Shops will allow youto do anything - it's not their issue.

I have limo tint all the way arounder and have owned my 8 since 2011 iirc.. Never once pulled over for tint.

I had my limo tint while I lived in Killeen TX, El paso TX and now here in PA (small town as well).

I've been pulled over... just not for tint

Typically when you're pulled over for tints or something stupid like that, they're looking for something else (drunk, high, etc). Probable cause is all it takes.

Cops are the one thing keeping me from getting tint. I drive past one every day on the way to work. They have a reputation here for doing anything they can to pull you over. I got pulled over one day for letting him know his high beams were on and he proceeded to lie to me saying they are not allowed to use them. Then as I pulled away after he checked me out he turned them off.
