Too Much Bass?

So this might be a dumb question but I have Bose in my rx8 and I have two 12 inch subs I want to put in. They're 1300 watts each. Is that too much for that small of a car? They were in my old car but it was a sedan and it had OEM speakers. Will having both subs just overpower the bose and not sound good? I don't want to have to buy another custom sub box if it is.. Thanks

If the speaker "pops", then you have too much bass...

and yea I know I've always lived by the saying you can NEVER have too much bass.. I guess I just wanted to be a little more thorough for this was kinda my dream car and now that I have it, I just wanted it to be flawless in my eyes..
I just wanted some opinions from other RX8 owners...
so thanks for all the 'helpful' answers... really appreciate it...

ill chime in since i have a system i installed recently.
i have 1 12'' kicker solo(d) svc 4ohm rated 300rms and 600 peak in a shallow box with close to the proper specs for the sub. running it is a planet audio anarchy 1500 class D mono amp (1100rms@ 2ohms) hooked up at 4 ohms and my sub is 88hz response and amp is set to 90hz powers cranked all the way up and bass boost at +18db all this to the factory stereo via a 2 channel LOC

now with this setup im seeing 550rms watts to my 600 peak sub and it is LOUD inside the cabin but my whole trunk has insolation. my mirror vibrates to the point that i cant see out of it and my seat vibrates enough to feel it very distinctly. all this with the rear center pass thru NOT removed. but from 10 feet away outside you cant hear it. ALSO even with my stock stereo i can actually HEAR the trebble even with the bass so overpowering. so i can crank my stereo all the way up without drawing attention from cops or looking like a jackass to fellow drivers

also the weight of my sub and box only adds 28lbs and my amp is about 5lbs so a total of 33lbs

so what im saying is if im saying anything is 1 sub is plenty for a car of the rx8's size IF hooked up properly to its max potential. but if you want bass to show off to everyone and they mommas sure go 2 subs but also consider

2 speakers and a bigger box equals more weight
which equals less mpg less acceleration and more load on your already flawed electronics system
louder bass that travels will attract the attention of police which will net you tickets
if you speed they now have a reason to notice you first instead of the hyundai doing 70mph in 40 the cops actually target loud systems as it pisses them off
