Removal...
Put car up on jackstands or a lift. Undo wiring to switches and O2 sensors on top of tranny/ rear engine... undo and remove shifter inside car
Undo crossbraces and protective panel over driveshaft. Undo power plant frame. It helps if you scribe arount the nut position or mark it before you remove them... easier when you put it back together. Support end of transmission and remove starter and clutch slave bolts and bolts that hold bellhousing to rear plate. Remove driveshaft and pull from rear of transmission and stuff a rag in...if you want to be neat.. drain the oil first . Be careful of the seal if you plan on reinstalling.
Once the bolts are removed the transmission is basically sitting on the input shaft and the support. If you have a tranny jack... hook it up and move the transmission back then down until it clears the input shaft from the clutch/flywheel and then it will be free.
If you don't... you can basically bench press it and pull it back and out
Its pretty much the same as any other manual transmission and there are no surprises after the PPF is removed. If you stuff a block of wood to hold the differential it helps realign it all later.
I can't think of anything else.....
Swap to what? That will determine the install
