TurboXS

I bought a TurboXS cat back from one of the vendors here, and wow, the car sounds amazing, the way the 8's should have sound from factory. Like it so much I put 250 miles on it since Wednesday just driving around. While this cat back is for the S1, it fits pretty good in my S2, like a lot of posts, just longer hangers, a pair of 2 1/4" and and a pair of 3" did the job. I'll post some picture and a video sometime this week.

Now, I mentioned that I purchase this from a vendor that posts here, that said, I called prior to the purchase and he said that he would include the race pipe with the purchase, but when I received the cat back, no race pipe . I've been trying to get a hold of him, left a few VM and even PM'd him here, no response. I figure I'll give him a week before I mention his name to get back to me, give him the benefit of the doubt as he may be too busy. While it's no big deal, as I would only use it as a test (I think it will be too loud with it on, but would like to see the flames), I have the means of adding a high flow cat back to it and use it in the future. Again, maybe he's just too busy to return calls or just may only like onetime customers only.

So 2 weeks of dealing with JM Auto Racing, they finally call me for the shipping charges (which I agreed on) for the race pipe. Gave them my CC info, the person on the phone tells me $19.80. Now I get a call from the card monitoring services, $119.80 from JM Auto (instead of $19), Summit Racing charges, Speedway Motors, some one went on a shopping spree. Buyer beware, can't say it was them, but someone like car parts. I guess people don't know that when you place online orders, they capture your IP address, oh and your shipping address, so hopefully they used a good proxy and not their home address, because if not, someone will be getting a summons and will need a good lawyer. As far as the $119.80, I'll be talking to the BBB to see what they have to say.

Sorry, just had to vent, I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

After a trip to the bank, multiple calls, everything has been resolved, charges will be removed, new card has bee order. Joe from JM was very helpful on getting this resolved, props for that. I'll finally get my race pipe on Tuesday , hopefully will get installed on Wednesday.

that's an annoying and frustrating process... I have been screwed before by people "buying/selling" car parts enough to know the struggle. but after all these years I am still bitter at some people i have delt with in the past.
