TurboXS Exhaust Questions

My check engine light is on for several reasons..

One being my OEM catalytic conver, another one being my o2 sensor pigtail and connector somehow got melted together...

I will be buying a new cat and if I'm really leaning to the TurboXS catpipe because i need a cat-back to go with it.

So my question is, if i get a mechanic to fix my o2 sensor problem and put the new TurboXS catpipe on, my CEL should turn off right since it passes emissions in TX? Or he can just reset it? I really need my car to pass emissions, as it is my daily, and i hate seeing dash lights. Also it looks like but I'm not 100% sure but does the cat-back come with the racepipe? I don't want the racepipe though because I think my CEL would stay on and it wouldn't pass emissions...

Thanks for the help everyone!

If you are putting in a new OEM cat and new 02 sensor then your CEL will go off...

If you take out the CAT then your CEL will be on no matter what.. The only way of blocking it is you tune your ECU with AP and block the CEL..

There is a reason why OEM cat costs 1400, No other cat lasts long and burn out due to the rotary's heat.

You may want to look for a CAT and Exhaust Thread in the forum there is only one other option other than OEM CAT that lasts and doesnt cost as much.

Hope this helps.
