The usual won't start
HELP!!! Hi all sorry for the long post but here we go, so to start off had my 8 for 2 years now, I know it has a low compression. A few weeks ago wouldn't start so done the usual deflood methods. Ended up bumping car and got it going. Went for a 20 min drive parked back up on the drive. Engine light was on and code was for the crank sensor. Tried an hr later and wouldn't start again. So replaced sensor still no good. This morning got a brand new starter ( upgrade with 14 teeth) and still no good. I've taken plugs out to clear chambers and at present have battery on charge, my thinking is can't be plugs or coils as it jump started. But I'm no Macanic only a novice when it comes to cars. Any ideas much appreciated

Still no joy
So worked through list, engine code says crank sensor, won't jump start when towing. No spark guessing because sensor code. Brand new sensor. So I'm assuming from sensor to coils lies the fault. What's the likely hood it pmc/ecu or dodge wires

First thing charge the battery fully, sound simple but do the usual checks of all the connections.
Is the starter old? There's a link at the top of this thread which may help, but to me if there's no noise from starter then could be starter fuse or ignition fuse. Takes time to run through everything, I ended up with new plugs new starter and shaft sensor before I found fault. Although i would need all of these in the end it was worth it. Sorry couldn't be more helpful

Could someone please message me who has a lot of experience on working on their own 05 rx8 6-speed, I just need to physically talk to someone about the problems I am having. Already dumped 4 grand into this car and it is still sitting in my driveway, I just need to talk to someone with experience, it would help out a lot and be much appreciated!!
