I was replacing my vapor canister purge valve earlier today and the connector wires broke off, very close to the connector. I have a few questions.
- Is this a universal connector, meaning it’s the same for other Mazda models or is it RX8 specific?
- Is there a DIY way to solve this problem or do I forcibly need a new connector? I don’t think the old one will work because of how close to it the wires broke off. I’m asking this because there are very few RX8s in my country and I would need to import the connector which would take several weeks to bring it here.
