Any idea what this sound is? Or if it is normal?

The combustion sound making it through the exhaust is normal. It sounds a bit rougher than it should be though. Not rough enough for me to think that it is a seal failure, but maybe one or more ignition components not firing efficiently.

Thanks for the reply, I have not done any work to the car yet since I just got the car 2 weeks ago. So I honestly don't know how the last guy took care of it or not. What does a seal failure sound like? Also are some other systems of a seal failure? If it was a seal failure that would require a new engine right?

first and foremost you want to check ignition components. Do you know when the coils / plugs were last replaced? How many miles are on the car? Remove your spark plugs and take a picture and upload here so we can see if they are fouled or installed improperly. Specificly the electrode end, and the crush washers as that will tell us if the plugs were installed to proper torque specifications.

I had a strange idle issue once that attributed to one of my spark plugs slowly backing out.

You might want to read the new owner's thread (linked in my sig). Your question is far more loaded than I have the time to explain. That thread has most of the answer you need, including a list of maintenance items that you will want to address sooner rather than later, since you don't know what has been done previously.
