As per title

Just pulled in to a Mazda dealership today, another 8 was leaving. We slowed down to check out each others 8 and parted with the peace sign.

What do YOU do when you cross paths with another rotorhead?

I usually make a grumpy cat face and die a little inside because it seems like the only ones I see are riced out or have a horrific amount of plastidip highlights.

Hmm I've actually never seen any 7s or 8s in my visits to NYC. Every car there is so scratched up too.

I live in rural America ... I've never seen another one.
Recently went on a road trip to Arkansas/Texas (Ft. Worth) and back.
Didn't see any RX8's.

If I did see one, no doubt it'd be gone before I could react, we'd both be going so fast. I'd look in my rear view mirror, smile and give it the finger.

Wave and think about how much I enjoy having such a unique, cool car instead of being just another lemming.

Wave, thumb's up, smile, peace sign, regardless of cleanliness or riced outness...

I usually wave at the old lady/old man in the clean stock RX-8 or shake my head in disgust at the kid in the beat up RX-8 with painted or plastidipped black stock wheels. I see RX-8's daily and the only time I see a nicely modified one is when us SARX guys hit up cars & Coffee together.

I'm the old guy in the clean, stock 8 that drives like an idiot and likes to blow everyone's doors off.
Passed a VR yesterday with black wheels and super dark tint.
Yuck.

I occasionally see a clean R3 with a young driver but very rarely.

Usually give an ecstatic wave if I haven't seen the specific car before in the area. Always ends up being and older guy who's probably thinking something like, "kids these days, makin' these cars look stupid."
