Question What ignition coils to buy

Hi, I read a lot what is best ignition coils to buy on forum and found D585 is way to go. I searched on ebay and found npboosted have kit (4xCoils, 4xCables, mount bracked for D585 coils), here is link https://www.ebay.com/itm/322763255698
Can someone give me advice is this kit from npboosted good to buy?

Thank you very much for help!

Keep it simple: either a new set of OEM ignition cables or an absolutely proven system like Black Halo Racing's.
honestly, I'd avoid any of those ebay specials because there are a ton of poorly made ignition coils / kits out there and it's not worth the hassle in the long run.

I get you, it is such a struggle to find quality parts not overpriced from european vendors at this time.
Essex rotary has a collab with bhr but uk is out of eu trade now, so no gain there except if they can arrange some triangular kind of delivery?
Npboosted is a Canadian firm I believe so you have import duties plus taxes if you order from them.
I'd be careful with those other acdelco you wrote about.

I don't know about the vendor but it's in eu.
I know ebay's got some hot garbage but there are some reputable vendors in there who participate in the global shipping program.

Thank you for understanding my position, my country isn't in EU and fee is even higher. It is easiest to say "Stop buying garbage on ebay."

From racedom only shipping to me is 140e ($154) and tax fee and other **** is 180-200e($236) this is already too much.

I will buy this kit from NP Boosted and fingers crossed , right now I have 2 dead coils and engine working on 2 other coils (1rotor=1coil)

I hear you. Way way overpriced.
I've done some web search on npboosted, they seem legit. Those d585 will last you a long time on steet driven application. Be careful with installation, don't place them too close on the bottom of the car to avoid water, mud etc from street sludge and ground them properly and you're set. Hope everything works out!

Better stop running it like that, or you'll be ordering a lot more than coils.

Yeah it's in garage and waiting order. I accidentally discovered that my coils are bad, friend want to test their rx8 with my coils (oem) and when I took them off I tested it on multimeter 2 coils have 1.5kOhm and and the other two are dead infinity resistance. But when I use car, engine normal working on idle hmm...

If only the trailing coils failed, that's what you would see, although you might also see high load misfires. That's why coils are a silent killer of cats and engines.

There is no coil you can buy that will guarantee infinite service life, regardless of how much you spend. I see them as a consumable, that needs to be replaced on a schedule. This will assure the freshest performance.

I have C coils in my Mazda now, and just picked up a fresh set of new C coils. I plan to change them every 20k or so. Just make sure you get OEM and not knock offs.

I bought D585 coils from NPBoosted and while the coils worked, the ground wire is difficult to get correct without damaging it. I couldn't get a reliable ground, so I returned the set and bought myself some new OEM ones. Surprise surprise, the N3-H2 coils (not the later N3-R3 or N3-Z1 coils) died on me already. I just got my new BHR coils for $399 USD, so those should prevent more issues. I think just buying the best is worth more in value and less in cost over time than a D585 conversion gamble or crappy OEM coils.
