Anything that pops into your head, I'm curious.

Mileage, Engine state, interior state, exterior state, maintenance history, technical state overall.

It'd expect it to cost 8K in the end.

Good overall condition, possibly no Start motor, at least low compression.
With a dead motor the overall better be damn good to pay 3k..
As the exterior takes damage and other parts get worn out the price drops.

I saw two 8's sell less than a month ago both for under 2k with blown rennys... That was here in PA

It will vary from state to state, with or without mods etc..

I got my RX-8 2004 for 3000 dollars. The bumpers are painted later, but overall the car passed the annual technical checkup and starts always just as good, warm or cold.

The catch is that the steering wheel is on the right side. Doesn't bother me tho, since I already got used to it and still have about 4K in my pocket to spend on other things besides the RX8 :D
