Why would someone remove the horn fuse?

Horn didn't work so I checked the fuse and it was removed and loose under the lid. Put it back and horn is fine. Is it connected to the alarm? I don't have a remote yet.

Probably because it was shorting and rather than fixing it they just removed it? It's anyone's guess.

In the future please refer to the dumb questions thread.

Yes it's connected to the alarm. We don't have a crystal ball about what may have been someone's motivation.

I have not looked at mine as far as what size it is or what else is on with it. That being said, maybe something else more important needed a fuse replaced and he didn't have any extras at the time.

they forgot to put the fuse back after a prank that was pulled on the previous owner. horn sounded with the brakes, classic. if the fuse hasn't popped after some driving means everything is wired up normal again people make mistakes and forget things..

Seems ok, just thought it odd the fuse just laying there. But actually, I do the exact same thing with the radio fuse on a truck I have. For some reason I found the navi radio drains the battery if I don't drive it after 3 or 4 days so I just pull the fuse.
