Hey Guys...

So my friend bought and RX8 a couple months back.. I liked it I bought one too.

We noticed that there are quite a few RX8's that have had engine issues or suspected rebuilds needed and going for sale for around £500.

To me that's a bargin. Is it worth buying another one and keeping that for spares and repairs for our two cars??

 

Ehhhh. Maybe, depends if you have the money haha. Some people like to keep a healthy spare engine so if their main engine fails, they can just pop in the other one.. And so on.

 

Yeah we were going to go halves which meant £250 each. Seemed a bargin. Whether it be for the tyres or swapping out parts here and there.

 

Good idea. I might sell my RX8 to a similar buyer.

 

Seen another way, if cheap rx8s are readily available, you can always wait to buy one when you actually need. That way you're not sitting on 2 cars if/when you want to cash out.
