Had a friend machine me a nice adapter for my rx8 throttle body. My previous piece was homemade and functional but put the throttle to fat forward which caused hood clearance issue.
Almost ready to go back in the car. Waiting in the turbo manifold and dumptube to be cerakoted.
Decided to make some flex lines for my master to abs block lines. My previous hardline setup made moving these parts around a real pain. Switched to an auto bmc to eliminate the feed line to the clutch slave since I'm running a miata cmc. Waiting on my wilwood setup from Keisler Automation to come in.
Very pleased with Kiesler products once again.
They bagged two strips of teflon tape.. Probably the cleanest adapter brackets ive seen. They are definitely super light. Each caliper weights about as much as the two adapter brackets. Didnt have an actual scale but certainly lighter than stock.
Bit the bullet to do it right the first time and decided to replace the quarter panel and grabbed a new front and rear bumper from mazda. I was shocked to actually find them and the prices aren't bad.
How time flys. Ive been super busy but whatever. Working on the body stuff in my spare time at work. Getting things primed and blocked one section at a time.
For the record, anyone interested in Leg Sport products, theyre decently made vacuum molded fiberglass. Very light and thing but strong for ehat they are. With rhat said idc how wxpensive or cheap or what brand, you will have to work them to get them to look good. I/e bondo and several passes of primer etc.
Keisler diff kit came in. Also the 8.8 rebuild and 3.27 gear ratio. Waiting on the Detroit Trutrac to show up later this week and the SLG 2jz to dodge 8hp afapter kit.
