2JZ swap into rx8?
I'm looking at swapping my rx8 with a 2jz I know they make some kits to help you put it in.

Swap JZ Mazda RX8 gearbox adapter 2jz 1jz flywheel - MOTORSPORT PARTS PRODUCER
An ECU, and wiring.
I know it's easy to use the rx8 trans but would it be much smarter to use the 2JZ trans to hold the power. But want else would need to me made or bought for the trans to fit?
If you have a recommendation on ECU and wiring let me know. Thanks for your time.

Be ready to have a 15k or better budget!
Anyways you will need either and R154, V160 getrag 6speed one the best transmission ever (10k$),
the best option is a CD-009 350z transmission affordable and capable of holding 800hp/tq out of the box.
for an ECU I recommend a haltech elite
good luck!

Your gonna have a big job ahead of you. You also cannot put a V160 trans on a 4.44 rx8 rear end, so that is all going to have to be modified. V160 trans is matted with a 3.13 rear end in a JZA80.
Either buy a Supra or swap a 2JZ in a FD. Honestly, rx8 have no value and it would be a waste of 20-25k take it from me as I have spent 10k on a REW conversion.

An SC300 is literally a luxury Supra same chassis and suspension components everything down to the brakes sway bars etc. are interchangeable you just don't get the supra classic styling.

yea I agree you can save a butt load of pain and agony and money... Just get a supra or even an SC300/IS300/ and go NA-T swap (N/A 3.0L 2jz-ge with a turbo kit) it will be much cheaper then the latter.

2JZ-GTE engines are actually pretty cheap as they put them in a ton of a different Toyota's in Japan over a decade or so. Rx8 transmissions will not matte to a 2JZ engine. Even if you could put a rx8 transmission on a 2JZ it wouldn't last long with 2-3x the torque of a 13b.
cheapest and best bet would be a 2JZ-GTE with a R154 trans, custom drive shaft, etc... Not sure how the R154 gearing would be in 4.44 rear end.
