Well then you must suck *** at driving sir. I have taken all of the cars you just mentioned. Hell I beat a TC with the TRD super charger thing was weak sauce. Civic Si same story, slower than the TC. Quit crying about your car you bought it, NO ONE forced you to sign the papers and take delivery.

This is a place where people post their opinions, everyone has one and will share it weather you like it or not. So when posting remember you WILL be criticized by anyone who has an opinion. If you get all butt hurt about it then you are not ready for the tough world of internet forums.

I think is really cool what TC has done to his car.

but did you really have to make up a story about the scion and civic? i mean i understand that your trying to defend the TC and all. but could you at least made a story that is more believable. Maybe you where trying to be funny, i dont know. but if you feel that the 8 does not do what you are wanting it to do, then i would say the joke is on you for keeping the car that you dont really care for. /shrug

see i dont defend my car, i dont care if it cant beat so such car, because taht is not why i bought the car in the first place.

but back to the topic. nice ride tc and love the pictures.

Poor excuse for a rant.
A Scion tC or Civic Si vs an RX8? That's a slaughter. No way an RX8 will lose to either of those cars stock for stock in any contest, AND, as bose said, even a supercharged Scion tC TRD can't beat a stock RX8 straight line without a pulley and more mods.

Damn, a stock 2010 V6 Mustang cant take an RX8. Complete and absolute ignorance.

I'd be happy to drive an RX8 against any of those cars from a roll or a dig, and walk away laughing my *** off.

In the real world, people driving Mustangs fly off the road on corners where we take it easy. Even living in NYC, I encounter a good share of corners/exit & entrances where I pull away from anyone behind me.

An '04 Mustang will trap ~98mph, so, when you run into one on the street, don't be surprised when a bone stock GT walks you.

I've said it a hundred times, but anywhere except the track, trapspeed is a far more important than quarter mile time or 0-60.

For everybody that doesn't know this, believe me...

ET measures driver skill and tire/suspension/chassis setup. Quarter mile trapspeed mph measures the power of the car and how it will compare to other cars on the street. I could explain for days why this is true, and unless you spend time seeing it work and observing the relationship, you'll argue because it might not make sense.

that's why when this 2jz thing is done, he could go to the track and run a 15.0 second quarter mile, and trap 125mph. Lets just say, you don't want to try to pass him and cut him off on the inside lane.

Well, lets see... you're posting in a thread about a guy that's swapping out the Renesis for a 2JZ. Somewhere in there, I would think a rational person might realize that "straight line speed" was a topic of discussion.

I had no problems against a few S2K, 350z, Si's and the occasional GT. Granted my car was tuned and bolt-on where it matters.. but I'm sure they were pleasantly surprised when they tried "put down" the rotary and failed.

How the hell can you beat an s2000, heck even a 350z with our crappy 180whp. Unless you used NOS of course, even with your mods I still think you can't beat a stock s2000.
