Anyone know if a LS1 will fit in an RX8?

I know something about LS1 FD's.... Friend of mine here did it and I've dealt with Hinson in the past and seen his works (from his twin turbo LS1 FD making 800+ RWHP on pump gas, customers single turbo LS1 FD running 10s all day long, etc). Don't get me wrong, Hinson does a great job on their conversions.
But since I don't know much about 8s.. but knowing they dont have 50lbs of turbo crap and engine being sit lower than FD 13b-rew, it might be slightly more difficult to put LS1 into 8 than FDs. But I'll say anything is possible....
I'm sure more and more people would be interested in this conversion as Renesis pretty much hit the limit in its power (too high compression for turbo(s), the weird porting)... and cost of the used 8s are lower and lower and more people wanting something more unique and so called, "reliable". I think those are the reason why most FD owners decided to go LS1.. I would of highly considered this route few years ago, but with my current knowledge in rotaries and stocks of 2 x 20B engines, 8 x 13B-rew engines, I think I better stick to what I know best.. Rotaries.
