Battery fuse box alternator wiring help
I have a ls1 in 05 rx8. I have my battery in the trunk 0 gauge wire rubbing up to the engine bay and a 4 way distribution block hooked to the tip of the wire in bay. My question. Is Where do I go from there. Maybe I'm over thinking it. But I'm second guessing myself like crazy on this. In my head I'm thinking from block there should be 6 or 8 gauge straight to starter. And then another 6 or 8 gauge from block to alternator and then alternator to fuse box. Right?
Or
Distribution block to starter from starter to alternator from alternator to fuse box.
Or
From distribution block 3 separate wires. 1 to starter. 1 to alternator. And 1 to fuse box?
I don't need a separate wire from alternator to battery do i?
This is just for street purpose. ...no track
Please help

I hooked the battery wire to the fuse box where the old one went, the starter wire to that same port, and then the alt wire to the original alt post in the fuse box. Aka I used the original spots in the fuse box to hook everything back up. Been driving it for like 3 months. No (electrical) problems.
Good luck

Not at my car right now but I believe the one closer to the firewall is the alt and the other is bat and starter. I ran 0 gauge to the trunk, though it's probably overkill honestly. I have a 5.3 swapped, plan to fix my problems and boost over winter, but we'll see. Boost will happen, just not sure on when. Chose the 5.3 cause of how much boost it can handle and availability. Was going to track it but I'm too in love with it now. Thinking of doing a corvette go kart next for the track (like on Roadkill). This swap is worth it. Hope you finish.
