Frankenstein Fun Thread Let it all Rip!

Your chances of joining the wide world of retail increase with a BA. I won't pay for my child's school unless she is accepted into a hard science program. College is an investment now. It used to be about enlightenment. If you want enlightenment, go on the Internet, if you want to be successful, get a tangible skill. But enough on that. Any of you rotary guys actually make it off the jackstands today?

Well, mine will be on jackstands tomorrow getting an oil change.
Mobil1 0W40.
Also a nice polishing of the exhaust tips & wheels, rotate the wheels, a good cleaning of the interior with a good dash and leather cleaning.
A reward for 2 1/2 years and over 24k miles of reliable, nearly everyday enjoyment.
Priceless.

LSREX, back down on the directed personal insults. "Gloves are off" here in regards to back and forth and bantering and jabbing fun at people, but using words like that is still against the rules of the forum.

My 8 has never been on jackstands for more than a few hours.
I don't like to waste my time.
Driving 75k in a C10 is nothing to brag about.
I've got 230k on my pickup.
It's not the quantity, it's the quality.
My 8 gets babied, a truck is still a truck.

What color Pom poms do you shake for BigCajuns team Logalinipoo? That 75k comment was about a swapped truck. You are talking about putting 24k on a stock car like its a achievement. Well that would be considered super reliable for a rotor. How many motors did it take to go that far?

WhoDat!
log and I root for many of the same teams, so that's not really a slam.
24k seems like an achievement for the worst engine in the history of engines from your perspective.
I'd probably be better off with a steam engine.
It's more of a case of loving every bit of the driving experience for 24k, not comparing my torque to other guys torques.
That sounds like overcompensating for other shortcomings.
