Yeah, log, mine sucks pretty much 5 days a week for the last 2 1/2 years.
Especially when I hit triple digits straightening out a particular stretch of sweeping S curves on the interstate at 4:30 in the morning.
But then, I remember how gutless my 8 is, and I get so sad.

Not really. Dumping a lot of weight will get you faster too.
How about replacing the interior, frame, and body with something weighing half as much? Effectively doubles your power without touching the motor.
And yes, it's doable
