Again though, what makes you think that the swap is easier and cheaper than the parts cost of a proven swap with everything available off the shelf, a full instruction manual, and no chassis complications to solve or anything custom to have to create?
Seriously. Show me the logic of how you reach that conclusion.

Yeah i assume anyone making these comments about swaps has no idea about how to do them. I swap lsx motors into cars/trucks all the time. I make good mo ey with S10 and old chevy truck swaps. My RX8 is not a cut corner swap and im.using very high quality parts within a very reasonable bjdget. I wont go over the numbers but im very sure my completed swap will be less than ehat some of you guys paid for yohr RX8 to begin with. Im an engineering student and swaps are my hobby. I do this often and cant take any comments seriously from people who have never completed one.

And also what the hell are yall talking about only one finished swap (Touge Factory), and the only other one close is Stubbs LS3 swap. Hinson has one completed with AC, that shop in north texas completed a red one with an LS2 and Stephen Villavaso of LS1RX8.com completed his. These are all daily driven completed LSX swaps. Hinsons car is fully optioned with AC.

Show me where your swap is cheaper and easier than that?
And we can't take any comments seriously from someone who just says they can do it cheap and easy. You may prove yourself to be a god among men, but history of people claiming the same thing on this forum says: "NOT A CHANCE!"

You could have lots of Money and no Time or Skill, and still get a completed swap. Cash buys someone else's Time and Skill.
You can have Skill and Time, but if you are broke you won't get a swap done
You can have Money and Time, but since you don't have the Skill to do it yourself, you will just be paying someone else to do it, so you aren't even using your Time
You can have Money and Skill, but if you don't have the time, you won't get the swap done, unless you pay someone else and then your Skill doesn't matter

That second statement is just stupid I'm not even going to type a response for that.

There's more than you think, I already know about 4 or 5 around here that have been running for years. Sure they're not daily drivers but they get driven a decent amount. Sometimes these types of cars are the type where you have to actually get off of the internet and meet people to see.

Yeah yeah, all the 600HP+ REW's are in AZ and none of the owners get on the internet,
You can think the second statement is stupid but the proof is in the pudding, if and when your car is running then you can talk actual numbers. Until then all you have is big expectations and no experience with a turbo renny.
