here is a rephrase I guess,, I am right and you are wrong because i have actual experience building cars. not reading for days and starting 3 threads on a product then half bolting it on and getting a shop to complete it,,,,,,
this is what I do and i build one car a year drive it, race it and flip it.
i will most likely be keeping the Rx-8. unless i get a trade offer for a skyline r32 or r33.
here is what i do and work with

Oh ya, dude, awesome tip for you Joker: You could totally drop several pounds with an aluminum exhaust! I'm sure you could find one for sale on the forum that would go sweet with that undercarriage! Thank me later, you're welcome

Nice bumper shroud too.
I guess the single exhaust crappy rotary did that too, right?
Given past history of attention to detail, you probably thought the old saying was "Measure once, cut twice"?
Here's a couple of more;
"Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should,"
"Motion does not always equal progress."
Seriously, some of you guys would get more respect if you just said some thing like you got a cheap junk yard motor that you were familiar with and couldn't afford to do a proper rebuild,
or, you don't really know what you're doing but you think you can make it work, or any other rational reason.
When you start thinking your swap is or will be better than a stock RX8 without anything to back it up is when the problems start.
"A man's got to know his limitations."
Just because some of us never 'built' a car, or did a half-a**ed engine swap doesn't mean we can't.
Some of us have strong mechanical backgrounds and invaluable real life experience.
With age comes wisdom.
If the rotaries were as bad as some of you guys think, and V8 swaps were so easy, there would be a hell of a lot more of them.
But then logic doesn't seem to apply to a lot of these swaps.

I love the dilution that building something half assed that doesn't run or run well is better than installing quality parts that works, Just because you can, doesn't always mean you should.
Joker, I would love to see a showcase of past cars you have "built" since you do this yearly.

You're an ******* for editing that Wikipedia page, Mr.Thurston. I really like how you deleted your Wikipedia account in an attempt to be stealthy.

Wow sick "builds" brah, And the info on your first gen 1JZGTE is in many places aside from wiki, if you want to be in denial that is no surprise to me. Either way your expected power numbers on a your stock high mileage engine are complete dreamer land. Assuming it ever actually runs.
But you're the expert, you can install badges, ebay headers, and cheap *** coilovers,

I'm sure the 3" straight pipe with a V8 will go over well with the neighbors and local law enforcement as well.
IF it makes it onto the street.

Pretty much all of us have our cars already in threads of the forum, you are free to go searching for them. Being a newbie you wouldn't be familiar with them, and being a newbie we have no inclination to try to cater to your request. Especially since Joker's "builds" are a combination of poor quality, poor decisions, and simple work.

The only 'big talkers' in here are the half-a**ed swap 'builders'.
The guys who are doing decent swaps have their own build threads with very detail oriented posts showing their progress, and they get respect from members here.
It's these guys who do shoddy work and cut corners that talk the most BS.
Fwiw, I drive a very nice unmolested LY GT, BHR ignition and midpipe.
If you need to see it, there's a few pics in my profile page album.
If I did need a new engine, I would get my Renesis rebuilt professionally because I know it'll be done right.
I don't believe the RX8 can be made 'better' with a V8, and the 'big talkers' say otherwise and never prove it.

Driving my unreliable rx8
Pictures of random cars in random places hardly prove it. Especially with out any engine pics. Now if they were all in The same filthy garage or maybe a couple if garages and had engine pics it might be believable.
Heres my rx8 with a v12 lambo engine.
