Joker,
Chill. Calm down, relax. I understand you're feeling attacked, because in a way, you are. I understand that when we are feeling cornered, we use whatever weapon we have in our hands. In your case, one of the few you have is your youth. That's why you come with the "old man" remarks. Believe me, getting old is inevitable, unless you die young, which sucks.
In reality I admire your passion. I like to see young men going after their dreams and trying their hardest. The one thing you're really missing is common sense. To some people it comes later in life. You'll probably look back and laugh about your double flywheel thing when your hair line is receding and you're getting wiser.
My advice to you, as an old man, is: don't develop bad habits, take your time and aim for gretaness, even if it takes longer. The results are a lot more rewarding. You're young enough that you can choose to be an engineer, or just make the bad decision of being a bouncer-engineer-wanna-be that will chop his own legs off with a pair of flywheels. Wise up son. Life is good when you're older and actually can afford cool stuff

I bounce just for now and I have currently made it to the seconds round of interviews for my local plumbers union after 5yrs ill be set at $60/hr with benefits and pension, and if all else fails back to shop I started at lol
also point being I want a torque-y drift car for this summer and I'm know that with time and $6000 all in I can do it by myself. I intend to have a break in period of 1-2 months where I introduce short periods of abuse and progress further and further untill something breaks then replace and hit the track.

Wait... no front sway bar? With a heavier engine that is more forward and higher than the stock one...
It probably still "handles great" for most muscle heads.
Hoses and wires laying everywhere.
And an autotragic. I must have missed that somewhere. No wonder he had a problem with 197 crank hp.
At least it has enough torque to overcome the grip available on grass. Must be nice.

How does it not. Dont you know a ls has to be auto because if they cant take care of an engine theres no way they can drive and shift at the same time.

What the **** did I just watch.
The mazda computer is not talking to the GM computer in any way shape or form...And why is there wires all over the engine bay...
Confused how the RX8 platform has attracted such ignorant shade tree engine swappers lol

Because none of them recognize how quite a lot of the car's performance is due to explicit design taking advantage of an engine being placed where no other engine can fit?
These are people that think a suspension is a suspension, they are all roughly the same, except the stiff ones handle better.
