ijzgte swap
after having a sr20det swapped rx8 ... here is my new rx8.it has a 1jzgte single turbo vvti swapped in it mated to a six speed mazda rx8 transmission. everything except traction control is working, here is a video

please watch full video as i had to repeatedly slow down as the road was congested.... on 190km/h i was going to engage sixth gear but as the road was congested so i slowed down after that .

did you have to set it up high
did you use the oem steering rack?

half of the rx8s in Pakistan are swapped , mostly are 1jzgte twin turbo , a few 1jzgte single turbo and a few sr20det .... i have heard a few with 4efte and even diesel engine

thanks ..... its cheaper here to buy a rx8 without engine and to swap it than to buy a rotary rx8 in good condition ,... and rotarys dont last more than 50k in our dusty hot climate
