some sick shyt, but i dont believe it will work with the 8 chasis, and if it does i dont believe it will last to long, to much stress even with reinforcements, i dont thinkg any1 here realized what 960rwhp does to a chasis so thin as the 8, i deff give major props and have lots of faith on this crazy project that the car will start and move, but as a mechanical engineer is hard to believe that this car will be a daily driver, and wont split or crack in diffent places, as for half of you, stop hatin bc you have a wack z06 its an rx8 club not chevy, so i say you need to not speak unless spoke to, again major props on this and sounds good on paper or what ever but at the end of the day you must realize what type of stress your putting on a car that was meant to be 50/50 weight dis, and a 1.3l engine. good luck brother and hope for the best

if a Corvette can put 1000hp on the pavement with Leaf Spring suspension (Lingenfelter, Goldstrand) then an RX8 can, FACT is that an RX8 is lighter, and with some suspension adjustment/upgrade and some nice fat tires the RX8 is VERY capable of utilizing an LSX, I'm excited to see this!
as for everyones weight concerns...
a stock Renesis weighs 344lbs without fluids or a transmission...
an LS7 weighs 458lbs...
granted you're moving the weight forward and adding turbos, but... I'd think that there's some relocation and lightened front components that can help combat the frontal weight gains... all things considered it's not that bad...

Your LS RX8 project is being done in Puerto Rico and that other one is being done in Iceland. Whats up with that? You have be on an island to do this swap?

it baffles me how some people are questioning the RX8 chassis... do any of these people realize that the RX8 is more than 100% more rigid than the FD3S RX7 was? and you see LS swapped and 3 rotor RX7's with 1000hp... the RX8 is very very well engineered and is capable of handling a lot more hp than the 13b provides.

LS7 is aluminum and LSX is iron, for starters.
