ok so its been a few weeks since i updated, oops. i havent really done anything new besides picking up some wheels(ill post a pic). I have been searching for a budget freindly but effective fuel pump and all i have found is a efi inline pump from summit. Its a summit brand pump flows 43 gph,258 lbs.per hour,@85 psi. and its only 80$ shipped. im thinking this should work untill i can get some money for a real pump. soooo give me some more time and ill have something to show

well its been over a month and ive been taking a break from all the craziness. i have mad a few changes with the fuel system though. i got a 265 lph in tank pump that dropped into the oem canister and picked up a sard fpr. im in the process now of figuring out what type of line to use to hook my pump to the bulkhead in installed. i swear the fuel system on this car has to be one of the more oddball things i have worked with.but after i figure out somthing that wont give me any problems i should be good to go.

so far so good, i finished my trans mount and the rear diff mount today and im hopefully going to finishing the fuel system this week. i ran across some missing parts today while i was modding the shifter so that might set me back a lil. overall slow progress is better than no progress.

Damn what you're doing is sick, i've also wanted to see someone do something like this especially since i have both an rx8 and an s14. Now i'd like to see someone put a renny in a 240 now...lol. Good luck with the build.

oh the joys of doing an insane engine swap and being broke lol. I finally got my d/s friday so thats new, ummm i still have to get some custom braided lines for the brakes and i have a few more fittings i need to get for the fuel system. i just recently ditched my accord beeter and bought a 91 mr2 from a co worker. ive been putting it back together for the past 2 weeks because the parts are free and i need a dd while the 8 continues its journey into hybrid bastardom lol. stay with me guys

stainless braided, clutch, fuel and brake lines. some kind of really flexible line to go into the carrier to plumb the lines from the fuel pump. radiator hoses, and a handfull of fittings.

well when its running and done i will make a total list of parts to be bought and to be made. There isnt really a step by step to doing this swap but i can point people in the right direction for making things work. as for a cost factor....get ready to spend alot of flipping money. just the eng trans and wiring is 2k. then theres gauges subframes driveshafts fuel systems steering shafts and the list goes on. i have done all the work myself and i have still tipped over 7k.
