Because I have an F20C. lol
And, the 2 liter has a proven boosted track record (pun intended).
I don't like the idea of adding stroke for displacement (on a turbo motor). It lowers the safe RPM band.

Makes sense, so you are boosting it too? I guess that is a given though.

Clean swap, however it won't come close to the rotary in handling, no way -- no how. In a straight line, yeah you'd be ahead but the fun the Renesis gives is something else.

There was a guy years ago on 8club attempting something like this, nice to see it completed.

Post up videos of it in action.

If the weight is sufficiently far enough back and low the balance of the car will remain largely the same, you gain FAR more power under the curve without sacrificing any performance. The "benefit" of the rotary at that point is personal preference at best.

Also, I would be willing to be money a well done swap will annihilate a stock Renesis RX-8 on a road course with plenty of turns, not just a straight line.

That is an amazingly ignorant statement. But I expect no less around here these days.
The suspension doesn't know it has a different motor in it. As long as the weight is the same and in the same place, the car will behave exactly the same way.

I think seven years and multiple motors is a fair sign of patience.

It's not the motor M&M, it's the rotary wankle gods that take your 50/50 distribution from you and anyone in your family.

Awesome swap, kudos. Honestly I could do without the flying M on the valve cover, let the engine be what it is, let the car speak for itself, I bet you wouldn't put a Nissan burger emblem on the bumpers

50:50 weight distribution is way overrated plus I wouldnt be surprised its still close to that after the swap.

Hardly. On the track, a 1% move to the front translated into a LOT of understeer.

Ignorant statement my foot. You will ruin the intricate balance that this car has. A SR20DET does NOT have the same weight or size as the Wankel (~500lbs for the SR20DET and the 250lbs for the Wankel, a MASSIVE 250lbs difference), neither will it be positioned behind the front suspension. So it WILL throw the handling off unless you make significant modifications to the chassis and cut the firewall in the process.

Good luck with your F20C swap. That's probably the reason why you're blabbering on like an ignorant person.
