Cheers fella...
Thanks mate...
So I free'd up some time to get back to the RX8 today, applied the last 50/50 mix to the passenger rear quarter so now I have a better idea of how it will look from the rear :
Repaired some damage to the driver wings and gone to working on the top too :
Passenger side is coming along good now too :
Popped on the sideskirts and I think they will suit the car :
Then decided to throw on the bumper to see the challenge ahead :
***** :
Oh well here is where I have decided to cut, will get at it tomorrow, its time for some grub :
Thanks mate...

Woah. Fenders look amazing. I like what you're doing with the bumper but i can't help but think you could have chose a more aggressive front. I dunno though, could end up awesome. Still super stoked to see the results!

Should be all good in the hood
Decided to chop the rear bumper today since I had some time, plan is to have it vented like the front wings, join it at the top and the bottom only and I made the exhaust exit a bit wider too. The space on either side of the fog will be cut out and I will be flushing the licence plate recess for a smooth **** on her
Looks alot cleaner now :
The top will be joined and the bottom fang I guess you could call it
More tomorrow. Just confirm the front of the car is 77" inches wide (6ft 5"inches) and the rear is 78.5" inches wide (6ft 6.5" inches) LoL

Ya loads of room, about an 4inches clearance.
They are not, I just cut the crap outta my old bumper
I'll be leaving vents in the rear bumper alright dude.
You need to use an RX7 rack like myself
Ya the fronts are easy to appreciate but the rears are something you need to see in person, maybe primer will make it clearer.
LoL
Hardly, more a dope that went chopping a perfectly good car up...
Welcome
Cheers
Hmmm I haven't updated the thread in a while, not much has happened but I'll bring you up to speed.
I needed to line up the rear bumper section I cut off, so used some metal from a bonnet I chopped and pop riveted it on to hold the shape.
Caesar invited his bitch over to chill while I did the work of course.
So I had to give the garage a bit of a clean as it was wrecked, threw the car back in and I have to say I felt sorry for her.
So with a burst of new interest pulled her back out of the garage Monday and got back to some sanding / stripping.
Unfortunately this is the slow part making sure the lines look good and everything fits like it should, removing the wiring from the doors and unnecssary clips. However I have enlisted the help of a mate (panel beater) who will be repairing any of the dents in the doors and priming them. Also we will be finishing the bonnet and wings to get them ready for primer. All of the above should be primed by early next week, then its a case of finishing the bumpers, skirts, spoiler and boot and having them primed. Once all the exterior bits are finished and ready for paint the engine bay and interior will be attacked, this is how the car sits now :
More updates to come

So I got a bit more done last week, chopped up the AE86 spoiler a bit more to give a sharper rise at the rear. Then got out the bondo and pop rivets, still more to do but you get the idea.
Stipped off the bonnet, wings and 4 doors so I could drop them out to the panel beaters garage, should all be back by the end of the week in primer. He is fixing up the car park dents and this frees me up to focus on the other bits.
Even the dogs decided to chip in to get **** done, from the left you have Caesar, Nibbles, Phoebe and Romeo hiding in the background.
Its mad how far back the engine is and oh ya how bare the car is now
Next up, finishing the boot/spoiler for primer and move onto the engine bay and interior.
