I've called the shop and we're all set for tomorrow. I'm gonna try to run at 0830. The way they operate, I might spend 45 minutes on the dyno!

Here's my run plotted over one of shaun's runs. Mine is the solid line, Shaun's is the dotted line. Notice my car's power dropping/leveling off?

Shaun - what octane fuel were you using? I was on 89, and speculated if you were on 91, my car might be pulling timing? Or - it could be your coil-work, etc..

Nice! I was running 91 octane but I suspect that's my coils at work at the top.

I wonder if your mid and low range is due to your intake and exhaust. Or something else...

either way it's good to see another RX8 in basically the same range. That gives us some faith that there's nothing really wrong with our cars just the dyno reads low.

Interesting how much richer you are running down low and still making more power. Hmmm...

Of the other RX8s there, most had the power curve like yours up top, too. I suspect it's timing related...but just don't know.

VERY PROMISING AccessPORT results, but I'll let Sky toot his own horn. :D

You're probably right about the timing up top. The 89 will probably let you down up there for ultimate power but for commuting it's nice to save a little money. And you still ran better than I did on average.

do tell Sky!!

Truth in Lending - I had him plot mine over one of your 'not-as-strong' graphs...

Just thought I'd pop over here. It was nice chatting with you guys. I would have stayed longer, but I thought I had tortured my little one long enough, she seemed tired.

Yep - had 106.5 "The Cos" jamming the latest local bands while framing and wiring.

Scott is shipping my parts next week, so I will get to the dyno soon.

Do you want to hook up in a week or two and do it again? I'm going to dyno a catless 3" full exhaust on a stage 3 MM/AP tune.

Your not reading the fine print - he has a stock midpipe with a cat... and is running a stage 1 map - you need to fill it up and chug j/k

With all do respect - you don't see the big picture just yet
