-Oil change and filter --Less than $50 in your driveway
-Engine Cleaner and Conditioner (whatever that it) --don't bother
-Differential Fluid change --Less than $25 in your driveway
-Transmission fluid change --Less than $25 in your driveway
-Clean battery terminals --free if you have a wire brush, otherwise $1.25 (for the brushs)
-rotate tires (if applic.) --free in your driveway
-inspect brakes --free in your driveway
-Brake fluid Change --pick up some speed bleeders and this is easy enough on your own. Otherwise, maybe $50 at an honest shop.
-Power Steering fluid change --Ummm, it's electric assist on the 8, not fluid to change, sorry.
-Replace engine air filter and in-cabin filter
-Clean Fuel injectors and throttle body.
Do what you can yourself. $1000 for your 30K service is putting somebody's kid in braces, and it's not your own.

If you were to do it yourself I'd say please pull and check the plugs, but since you have to have someone else do it, don't bother. At 50K you're going to need to change them, and when you do, get the ones for the 93-95 RX-7. The Iridium plugs our cars call for foul to fast to justify the cost. The FD ran platinum plugs. I changed mine back in October. I'm going to pull them in April to see how they're doing. If they're already fouled at that point, I'm going to the coppers from the earlier RX-7s.

$ 400 is a reasonable price at a mazda service center. I don't think any mazda authrized service center would offer 30K service for any lower.... IMO.
Ofcourse ..as Kris mentioned in his comment .....if you could do all those things yourself in your own garage....it would be way cheaper.............but that person said he couldn't......so

RX-8s Official Cool Guy
The dealers must be having a Hay day with you guys... I don't know how many times I need to say it but the RX8 has Electronically ASSISTED Steering Wheel which means you don't have power steering fluid in your car.

If they're including a Power Steering Fluid Change in their 30Kmi service for the RX-8, yes, they're absolutely lieing through their teath and if they don't know it you don't want them filling your tires, let alone servicing anything else.
