I need an alignment on my 04 RX-8. I bent a wheel last week, and am waiting for a replacement. I live in Salem.

I'm thinking about taking it to AR Auto Service (aka Adrenalin Racing) in Portland. Anyone know anything about them?

The only alternative I have is Hillyers Tire and Wheel in Salem. They get the local Mazda dealer's business, so they are probably OK.

Advice or alternatives?

If you want it done right go to AR .Eddie and his guys know what they are doing. Plus they will do custom set ups if you want. Now they are in Lake Oswego not Portland. Take the Durham\Tualatin exit off of I5 ,turn right and go 6 lights (not counting the one you are turning on off of the freeway) and turn right after Blockbuster. If you've gone to McDonalds you went one driveway to many but you can turn into there and go to the back because there is a through road that connects all of that together.

 

Taking my car in Friday to AR to have it corner balanced and get an alignment. I plan to have it dropped at least another .5" up front and .25" in rear before they corner balance the car. I'll report back how it goes.

 

Sweet. I had great luck with Eddie's crew. Now that I sold the turbo'd miata I haven't been in as much.
