I will see what I can do!!! but on another note I go on monthly drives with Kristopher and about six or more car!!! here is the next one:
Sun, 24 Jun 2007 Return to the String of Pearls
As usual, we're meeting at 10am, and leaving at 11am.

I know the 1st anniversary is the Paper anniversary, but I couldn't think up a good sounding name for the drive that included paper.
For June we're returning to the drive that started it all. The String of Pearls, aka Whidbey Island. It's hard to believe we've been at this for a year (granted, under another guise to start), but we have.
Special Thanks to 05TiGr8Lady for the pre-lunch portion of the drive. This was a great way to get onto the island, so mess with it.

Can you post another link for the string of pearls run? I got a 404 message. I live in Anacortes, and will hopefully have my car out of the shop before the 24th.
I'm not new to the area, but have been living in FL for the past three years and am looking to get my 8 into the twisties.

I'd be up for Sunday as well, I think. Actually, something tells me I may be busy, but I really don't know. Damned anti-histamines, all foggy, and a bit froggy, and...I think I'll stop now.

Depends on what you mean by Tacoma Area. I was planning on exploring FR54 Eastward from Enumclaw and seeing where it runs out of pavement (looks pretty good on the maps). You really have to get out of the city (for the most part) to find the roads I consider good. And the roads I don't consider good are better for large displacement American Iron with shoddy suspensions and no brakes.

i can meet you in enumclaw on sunday around 11 just pick a place close to the main road i have a friend up there, the only road i have been on past there is towards crystal mountain its not too bad.

When you make arrangements to meet someone, it's always a good idea to follow through. If you can't, at least make an attempt to let the other party know.
dmp managed to post on Friday letting us know he had to bail.
Where were you Type S Swap?
I drove down from Redmond, and waited 30 minutes for you to show. I was planning on driving the area, but Enumclaw was just shy of an hour out of my way. I also delayed my planned start time by about an hour. All in all, trying to be nice cost me around 2.5 hours. I don't mind meeting up with you. In fact, I rather enjoy driving with others, as most folks here know. But really, would a bail out post have been so very difficult. All I can say is, I hope your kid unexpected got into the championship in whatever sport they're playing, 'cause that's the only positive excuse I can think of.

your right i owe you an explanation. and before i explain, i apologize.
im up-loading the pics of what happened to a close friend on saturday night about 1145. he fell asleep behind the wheel about 45 mins south of portland heading for seattle. when he woke up he was in the median-he corrected after letting off the gas and 360d into the right guard rail with no seatbelt......thank god he came out with only mild concusion, but his brand new ion redline is totaled. i should have hopped online to let you know but to tell you the truth, it wasnt on my mind when i was in the hospital waiting for them to release him. again im sorry, and ill try to make it up to you.
Sincerely,
Robbie

i can make up a funny one if you like....hhhhmmmmm.....ah ok.. aaahhhmm. no **** there i was right, full tank of gas, sunny morning, and one hell of a hangover when all of the sudden this three legged dog hobbles up and starts pissing on my brake roter-this in itself was funny as hell ( ever seen a three legged dog squat to ****?) so the stoplight i was at turned green and i take off. upon approaching the next light i realize the dog **** is hindering my brakes performance -- and i slam into a honda......BURN! but thats not the end of it! stay tuned for episode 2 of the three legged dog SAGA!
..........I have no idea where that came from.............
