I'll be moving up there around june-july area. just wanted to know what the place is like.

hows the mountain roads and the scene up there? any autocross events?

Live in Mukilteo which is a 15 min ferry ride away from whidbey. Do not think there is too many events there, however in the center of the island a lot of empty roads, or roads with little to no traffic, which makes it fun to drive.

But to answer your question.

Theres some awesome mountain forest roads around, might be a hour drive to get. There are quite a bit autox events going on out in Bremerton. Scene as in how many of us get together? Prob not that great, just a few of us clique up often for beers. Other wise its a beautiful place long as you can manage weeks of drizzling pissing rain followed by a day of sun. Than back to rain.

Hey, maybe the last 2 summers have been abnormal but they've been freaking awesome. 70-90 with no humidity? Perfect!

its just more intense seasons. colder winters and hotter summers. we no longer have the lovely mild temps the nw used to have..

 

hahah well i thought it was june or july.

but do to the navy not giving anyone new PCS orders till oct. or nov. i wont be moving that soon.
