We're meeting at Lake Sammamish State Park. There's a linke the WA state web page for the park further up if you have to have the address. The plan is wiggle our way out to Carnation (very indirectly) and BBQ at Tolt-MacDonald park (lots of space), before continuing north on more twisty side roads. I'm hoping to make a pre-run this afternoon so I can make a GPX file and Windows Live mashup available. We'll see how things go here at work. It may not be 'till the weekend.

All right. I just finished making a pre-run (collecting GPS track logs for my other project, etc) and one of the roads dsmdriver suggestes (Cherry Valley Rd) is closed for about a mile. However, the rest of the route is good (there's even fresh pavement in a few places).

Golly, if I bring "special sauce" they'll be like Big Macs . Oh yeah, we'd have to have sesame seed buns too... Or maybe you guys are too young to remember that old McDonald's commercial
OK, so who wants to place bets that Ryan and Abby don't make it? They're getting back from their honeymoon earlier that day! Who's gonna have energy for a drive like that???!!!!

Have a good time. I thought I might be able to make this one, but it turns out that I'll be in Napa Valley for a friends wedding. We're driving down tonight, so let's hope I get a little better than my usual 18MPG.

Damnit man, priorities Oh! Wait! You get to go play in N Ca :D Have fun. If you've got an extra day or two, make a forray into the Mtns. Them's some good roads there.
I picked up more for the grill, but I think I'm going to go easy on the food side and bring chips or something else easy.
I'll probably also be bringing along a soon-to-be convert to the rotary side. He has his eye on a sweet deal, but is waiting for some financials to come through, but wanted to make the run with us.

I Am So Dumb!!!
For some reason I got it in my head that it was today, Saturday the 26th. I got food, went all the way down there (it's not that far from where I am) and found no one. And just as I was about to write my "where the hell was everyone?" post, I was at least smart enough to look at the date before running my mouth off.
That being said, i have some advice. Soccer season has started, and the fields next to LSSP where jam packed, making the issaquah approach hell. I suggest getting off at the previous exit (Lakemont boulevard). Exit Y's, you want to go North on Westlake Sammamish pkwy (Left on Y). BtW, the cloverleaf that you will hit here is one of the best in the state. My 8 can confidently hit it at 55, but it has 245 Z's all around. Stock can still probably hit it at 50.
Anyways, stay in the right lane and take the first right at the roundabout. Continue on down this road till you hit LSSP from the other side. Will certainly have less traffic. Also, was reminded how HUGE LSSP is. I suggest we meet in the back, as there are less cars there and it would be easier to spot. There are a lot of people and corporate picnics up front.
I'm bringing brats w/ mustard, and will be there again tomorrow!

Flomulgator, Thanks for the "scouting trip"... . Now we know what to expect tomorrow. Yeah, that usual exit for the park can be a pain (I get to skip though cuz I'm coming via 900). I like the Lakemont Blvd idea for those traveling via I-90.
When you say meet in the back - you mean all the way at the back end of the parking lot? I haven't been there for a really long time so I don't know if there is still only one big parking lot.
I forgot to say that in addition to condiments (mustard, relish, ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomato, Onions, pickles - I've also got plates, utensils, cups, napkins.
See you guys there!

Yeah, really. If you want to see what it's like, you really should come along. Yes, there were some pics taken.
Thanks, Linda. I enjoyed the heck out of it, planning included. It always great to go out for a run with others and share the comradarie. BTW, Mike is hooked. Regardless of how his father reacts to RX-8, he's planning on picking up the one he's been eyeing. Let's all hope it's still there. I had a chance to drive this evening, and it's definately a MAJOR steal. We should here from him in the next couple days.
Next month needs to be somewhere in the south end.
