Any chance the company with the contract will pick you up?

 

Not very likely. They are narrowing it down between 3 or 4 different companies with their own data centers and staff.

 

Again sorry to hear about the situation. I know you'll find a better job.

 

Dice is more watched by consulting firms than headhunters. Its like Monster but strictly for IT. I'm on a contract with Walgreens Corporate right now and in the next few months there's a real good chance I will be hired from that contract. The economy is bouncing back but it still sucks for the time being so just keep your head up and eyes open for that golden opportunity =D
