Big kudos to Adrenaline Racing/AR Auto Service
For those of you in NW Oregon or SW Washington:
I had AR Auto Service do an alignment on my RX-8 last month. I was impressed with their shop, very clean and neat. The owner took some time to talk to me about the kind of driving I do, and what tweaks to the alignment might be appropriate. He was very tolerant of my ignorance, and took the time to explain things to me. I was a happy customer.
Unhappily, last week I hit something really big (pot hole?) on I-205 going 60+ mph. It was dark and rainy, and I didn't see anything coming (damn ODOT). I bent two new wheels on my left side, and immediately had a steering wheel 15 degrees off center when going straight down the road.
I live in Salem, so any trip to AR Auto Service in Portland is an all-day affair. I can't 'drop it off' for the week. I called to make an appointment and told them what happened. Based on my description of the problem, they ordered some parts just in case they were needed. They understood that time and travel problems made it difficult for me to bring the car in, and seem to be going out of their way to make things go smoothly.
Big kudos to a great shop who is really thinking about the customer! They'll get my business in the future!
If anyone is looking for a good racing or service shop that really knows what they are doing, you won't go wrong with AR Auto Service.
