There is a few of us.

We will meet at Dicks. Ill figure out time so we catch the right ferry and make it to the track by 7:30.

Just the night before make sure that you empty out your car 100%. Glove box and floor mats. If you dont bring a box to throw your stuff in when we get there. Bring a chair, cooler (ill have one, but small) and water

Ew, taking a ferry there? The times SUCK. The only ferry that will get you there on time leaves at 6am (1hr ride + 20min of driving) which means you have to get there a few minutes before, which puts us meeting at Dick's at 5:30am. First 2 times of the Seattle->Bremerton ferry are 6am and 7:35am. Southworth isn't any better, their first few times are 5:20AM, 6:05AM, 6:55AM and 7:35AM. It would be the 6:05 time, because that one is a 40min ride + 10-15min of driving on the other side.

OR, we could meet at Dick's at 6:15, then meet up with Chris at the Tacoma Mall around 6:45 and be there on time. Then take the ferry back.

I dont see Chris's name on the registration list. I hate driving down and around Tacoma. Though it might be slightly cheaper.

Honestly on the way there, it's cheaper, faster, and you can sleep in more. On the way back, it's another story.

And yah, my bad, I thought Chris was doing tomorrow and Saturday.

I got signed up last night, so I'll be there Saturday. I may meet up with you guys at Dick's. It still takes around an hour and 20 minutes from Dick's if you drive around doesn't it? Last time I got to the ferry at 5:59am, relaxed for an hour, then drove the 20 minutes to the track.

Hm, I would leave my house at 6:30 and be there by 7:30-40 and I lived about a mile away from Dick's. I could be convinced to take the ferry.

Well here's a report for the BSCC Member day practice. For those who couldn't make it, you really missed out. The course was about twice as long as a regular course. No map, and the length kind of made it hard to remember the lay out. There was a section where you could grab third and really gun it. I think we hit 80 or more. The PR lapping day helped me out. A lot of the people would hit their brakes at the shicane (sp) in the middle of the fast part. All that was needed was a little realease of the throttle and smooth steereing and then back on the throttle. The course was a lot of work to drive, but it was fun.

A really cool part of the day was the riding in the other 8s. There was one run were I got to run with JantzenRX-8 and at the crossover from the main runway to the taxiway, he hit just right. As we were crossing over, he was able to get the car in the slightest drift. I'd say it was kicked out about 6" to no more than a foot. It wasn't a smoking tire drift, but a real controlled slightest kick out fast drift. It was really cool to experience. Great driving!

Great weather and not too many delays got us 6 runs for both AM and PM. Anijo's friend from MA had the fastest 8 time of 86 I think. I was able to come in with a 92.??? I'm going to have to save up for some racing slicks to stay stock and keep up with all you mods out there. I also need to improve driving skills too. haha

I did honk when I was behind you..I pulled beside you want to wake you up, but the officer asked me to pulled forward, because of cars behind me..
Soory man...

Anyways, just after get off the ferry, swing offer to BrawnBear to clean all the dirt from skid-pad..
I used low-pressure wash..with soap..then I let it sits for couple minutes and then sprayed with high-pressure soap and rinse it off...\
All the dirt came off...clean enough..but those cone marks a little bit pissed me off...+ I dented the lower left front fender + scratched my right rear wheel..I need to wax the car soon...
WWP + cone marks = NO GOOD...

But I had a blast to day....WOW...

I'll be there today. Shin, we'll look for your stuff when we get there.

I have pictures from Friday, none from yesterday though. Today it'll be time to see how Zack stacks up to the rest of the region in my car! He's only been here for 2 events and I can already tell I'm faster than before. Screw Evo schools, I'm just going to keep flying him out

You've got a real cool opportunity Anijo, you've been able to see Zack's lines. Study study study his lines and try to remember.

Friday - Freaking awesome. Zack threw my car around the slalom like nothing I've seen. We left at lunch to pick up my coilovers, get back for Comcast, and so I could get back for the ship party at work (which I missed anyway ).

Saturday - The handling kidney was sweet, the autox section was fun, the Skid pad was silly the second time, the braking exercise was silly the second time, the slalom was totally useful with Zack riding along/giving tips. He got really frustrated with it though, it was too tight for him to carry enough speed to keep the back as loose as he wanted it.

And then there was the open runs at the end. We really only did it for 2hrs but that was a blast. They made 2 courses, one at each end. The one at the North end kinda sucked, so we (Zack and I) went around it once then went to the south end where autox's normally are. The course was a bit weird, but we still had fun with it. And then I went for a ride in the 370z Nismo...

That car is kinda nuts. It honestly bummed me out a bit because it has SO much more power than us for the same price range (new, well, the base not the Nismo) and it handled really well. The driver on the other hand was pretty new to it and we went really sideways and spun twice, causing Zack to have to stop behind us in my car because we got too close. In the process, we blew away the bottom half of the course so the next time out, the 3 of us reset the whole course, and by the 3 of us I really mean Zack and I....

So Holy CRAP, designing your own course is freaking awesome! We basically turned the back half into a series of straights with S-Turn wiggles. You entered them hot, kicked the back end out to get around the wiggles then got on it again before hitting a tight sweeper back into another wiggle into a flying finish. In my car, we spent the entire back half of the course at the top of 2nd gear.

Sunday - BSCC AutoX, we only stayed for the morning because by the afternoon Zack's arms were just too tired. He was consistently 1.5 seconds faster than me in my own car again. It was from a combination of how smoothly he could shift into 1st entering the C-Box in the middle and how much more speed he was able to carry off the taxiway. He went for a ride in Eric's GTR and has re-assessed his opinion of them, he would no longer rather a ZR1... though he would still rather an LS3 in his Miata.

So this weekend definitely proved a few things to me:
- 3 Years more experience goes a LONG way
- Turning in harder and kicking out the back end on every cone in a slalom works perfectly
- Designing our own course would be AWESOME, we need to run practice days ASAP
- TJ is probably getting in trouble for how fast the full length course was
