Angry Can't decide!

My 2004 6MT 41,000 mi-Blk on Blk beauty was rear ended by a 1964 chevy truck!! Nine grand $ in rear end trunk repairs. RX8 was hit sitting at a red light intersection. I'm Pretty mad right now. The car has been in & out of the shop because of squeeks. WWUD? It's mechanically sound, no other problems except squeeks.
I've been thinking about the 40th Anniv, don't like the colors. The 09 is coming to the lots around May/June 08. It doesn't come fully loaded like the Inifiniti G37 coupe. RX8 Can't download music & there's a few options the G has, You also pay the bigger price tag on the Infiniti.
I test drove the 335i Bimmer & you could tell when the twins kicked in. The Bimmer reminded me of some old man's car!Great handling but Expensive!
I see that at 50K mi you start to have problems with BMW.

I have a problem with black coupes ....I have been rear ended 3 TIMES in 2 different cars! Tow in the RX8!
Tell me if You think I should switch to the Infiniti G37 coupe or stay with 09 RX8?
Help!
Rosie

the new infinity is too ugly. maaybe last years model. I do not really care much about the streo though, the intake and exhaust on my car are louder

I agree the squeaks are starting to drive me crazy, but it is not as bad as my Alfa Romeo.
then again my 25 year old 268,000 mile El Camino has less squeaks and rattles than my 60k 4 year old RX-8

I'd get the 09 RX 8.
Your already ahead at least 6k over the G37.
The gas mileage will be the same as the motor is bigger now.
Your insurance is cheaper.
The 09 has engine improvements
You already know its a drivers car.

You know you will be happy.

Squeaks? Rattles? What are those. I've got 71K miles of VERY hard driving and only an occassional rubbing sound from the steering wheel (where the airbag cover/horn meets the audio controls).

It really depends on whether you were getting your money's worth out of the car. If so, get another 8. If you felt it lacking in power and over performing in the corners, go for the Infinity/Nissan, or the bimmer. If you thought it was too fast, but could've cornered better you're both insane and in need of a lotus.

Get the '09 RX8. The new oil injection system is much better. The G will dissappoint you after the 8. The bimmer is a great choice while you have a warranty. Anything out of warranty will be crazy expensive.

I'd go for a brand new bimmer or RX8. Those new 3 series coupes look pretty sweet. :D hehe

G37s look bulky and heavy. They're all great cars though.
