I visited my car again today. I feel like going in every other day to look at it will make it better faster. At least she's more whole these days: the bolt on frames pieces are back in along with the radiator and AC condensor, CAI, etc. They test fit the body pieces and all is well there. The new hood is on and it's headed for paint. They also took the mirrors off and the doors apart. Wish I had known that so I could have done some work in there while they were off, but apparently it's easy to do. After paint, they just need to put it all back together and I need to gather the left over parts I want to keep.

Dondo, What up man? So my brother and I along with some others peeps are heading over to FormulaD this weekend if you want to take your newly put together car out this will be a great way to get back on the roads and have some fun at the show. We are planning on meeting up then heading over let me know if you are in.

 

hey, where's that? i thought i'd get it today, but no such luck. They are confused about putting the fogs on my MS front I guess..

Anyway, maybe tomorrow, but let me know what your plans are though I suspect I'll be out somewhere with the gf instead of driving around all weekend...

 

well, i got my car back late friday afternoon. i have since filled it with gas 3 times and drove all over the place this weekend. unfortunately, there are some minor issues with paint and some weirdness with those rubber oil cooler ducts, but otherwise everything seems to be in order. good times.

i think i'll be seeing you guys around more often now that it's fun to drive again. the hyundai accent i was driving was not very interesting.

^Sorry if I missed you, I will be over in Seattle again here in a week or so, I'll have to come see you then. I didn't have my car till Sunday anyways, I let my dad borrow it to drive to Walla Walla cause his is in the shop. I had the Ford Ranger Saturday.
