A dealership that isn't lazy and doesn't suck?

Well, I've been having major issues with my transmission (detailed repeatedly in the issues and problems section) and can't get the dealership to do anything more than just change my transmission fluid despite them verifying the problem occurs, which I have been bitching about for the last 30K miles and am still having since having the fluid changed two weeks ago! They said they can't/won't do anything else to fix the problem, like actually opening up the transmission, which should be the step they are on now as they have yet to fix the problem. Any recommendations for another dealership I might be able to take my car to in hopes of actually getting the issue finally taken care of?

P.S. It's Ron Tonkin that is refusing to "look" at my transmission anymore, saying I only have a "minor" problem and said they won't look at it for any further transmission complaints in the future. I'm still well within my warranty, so no reason for this from my perspective, considering they verified the problem still exists. Guess it has to break completely first before anything gets done!

yeah royal moore is my last chance here. ive given up on HM and dont want to go to tonkin.

Royal Moore is the last chance.

But Bunny has a different issue. THe mechanic actualy had the issue with the tranny as she describes but now they wont fix it? How is that possible under warranty- they acknowledge it isnt right but wont fix it?

Lawyer time seriously. First you need to get them to have the Regional guy come and look at your car. You need to call MNAO and say to them that the dealer acknowledges there is an issue with the tranny but they wont fix it. Ask them what your warranty is supposed to be for if they wont FIX IT.

My 4 year old has a saying and id bring him over for you

Number 1 FIX
Number 2 IT
Number 3 FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT!!!

That's where my mom bought her car from, but she doesn't go there for service as it takes an hour or more to get there from our house. LOL! I'll have to keep them in mind for when it starts getting bad again (likely in a few hundred more miles again, like last time).

I called the one in Vancouver this morning (at recommendation of a friend) after picking up my car. They told me they had some open time if I brought it in right then to do a quick look. They changed my fluid again (which they said was dirty with particles in it already after only about 500 miles) and told me my transmission mounts were getting loose (not out of spec yet), so tightened them up again. They said my car is definitely heading for a gear failure and agree that it is synchros and shift fork problem, but that it doesn't sound like it is occurring frequently enough by Mazda's standards (every single time when cold and also often when hot) for them to authorize the teardown and said they've gone through this numerous times in the past with Mazda and that everytime they want to get authorization for a teardown they have to wait for someone from Mazda to come and check it out first.
