Yeah. They're beaded silk, too. LOL

I was going to deal with downloading last night when I got home from work, since I had to recharge my camera battery first. However, with our big wind storm yesterday our power is out and I think there are more trees and tree branches in the road than actually left in the ground/on trees. That certainly made it "fun" getting home last night. My car smells like a Christmas tree now from having to drive over so much tree stuff. Of course, now when driving my car my eyes start watering and burning and my sinuses start hurting, because I'm allergic to pine-type trees. This means I have to clean my car ASAP so I can drive it in comfort.

The worst part with the storm is that PGE said it looks like our power won't be back on until Monday, so it will probably be until around then when I get the pictures uploaded. I only took a few of the cars, basically, since my battery died on me and I didn't think to charge it up before I left that day. LOL

Oh golly... sorry to hear you are affected by the storm and allergic to pine stuff! I was gone all week and got back today. I kinda expected to see trees down in my neighborhood, cuz in back in the inaugural storm of '93 five houses got hit! Thank goodness it didn't happen this time that I could see. My power was on and there are minimal branches down in my yard.

Well, stay safe and warm! No worries on the pics!

Our cherry tree has a large branch that broke off and our large fir tree also has several large branches that broke off. At least they didn't hit our house or anything. Everyone's vehicles park in a different driveway than the one that is overhung by the fir tree, so they were all fine. All day yesterday I kept trying to call the landlord to ask permission to park somewhere other than the driveway I am currently using (home owner moved out and house torn down to just remaining frame and roof, so not exactly a safe thing to park by in a storm; new driveway I will be parking in not fully "ready" for me yet so couldn't park there either) and couldn't get in touch with him, and neither could my mom, and she tried until 10 p.m. I just parked where it used to be visitor parking and figured I'd move my car early in the morning. I went down to get Bella at 8 a.m. and didn't quite beat the landlord, who was busily inspecting my car, probably getting ready to tow it, since he is quite obnoxious that way. I just walked past him, got in, and drove off. LOL

So far I'm not terribly annoyed by the lack of power since I at least get to leave for work (can't do my at home job until the power comes back), although I would kill for a shower. My boyfriend told me I could shower at his house, but that seems slightly odd to me for some reason, especially since they have no bathroom door. The only thing I wish is that we had some heat. It was 54 degrees in the house, according to the thermometer, when I left at 2 p.m. today. I can only imagine it's much colder now since the temperatures outside are 15-20 degrees colder than they were last night. When I checked on my car a little while ago (at work) Bella was already covered and ice and it's 31 degrees outside. It's always colder at my house than here because I'm at a higher elevation. If my power isn't back on by tomorrow around noon, I'm just going to go stay at my boyfriend's house, since his power never went out, although not even two full blocks away from his house the power was out.

Is that the same BF who wanted to go hunting instead of go with you on our drive last weekend? No bathroom door... sounds like a setup to me, lol.

Sounds like you're really gonna be cold tonight .

I'm off to bed - later!

Same boyfriend. He has a roommate, too. LOL

I think they're crazy. Since there is no bathroom door, if someone goes in to use it whoever is supposed to announce "Boy in the bathroom" or "Girl in the bathroom." LOL I somehow don't think "Girl in the shower" is going to keep anyone out.

On a positive, if the basement bathroom has the water fully hooked up and turned back on I should be able to use that one. It has a door.
