Drive around Couer d' Alene Lake...
I decided to make this its' own thread. We had discussed a drive around Couer d' Alene Lake on April 18th. I would like to get a head count and to extend the invitation to some of the RX-7's out there who have shown some interest in the meet.
What time does everyone want to meet. There is a road right across the I-90 from the Wolf Lodge Restaraunt. I plan on taking that down to where the first parking area is if that works for everyone or we could meet at the CDA Hotel on the Lake and everyone could drive up there together. Let me know which works best.
Afterwards I was thinking we could meet back at the Wolf Lodge for food.

Actually, after checking the distance, maybe earlier would be better, then I can get home in time to get some rest. Don't know how long the drive is, but I'd like to be on my way home by 15:00. That should get me back here around 20:00 if I behave.

So it looks like 12:00 pm and to make things easy should we all meet at the parking lot next to the Couer d' Alene Inn Resort? There is one behind it right in front of Tubbs Hill and there is the one in front of it on the lake by the park. Which one sounds better?

Thanks Kristopher for driving all the way out from Redmond and for taking some great pics. I hope you as good a time as I did and maybe you will make it to some of our future runs. We would enjoy visiting with you again. And thanks to everyone who participated I know I had a great time and look forward to it again.

Thanks to 93rdcurrent for leading the pack and to kristopher for the pics. We saw some nice scenery and got to exercise our engines, tires, and the traction control. I really enjoyed it.
Tim: to reiterate my comment after our first rest stop - "I now know why our mpg differs."
