Sorry to be lame, but can you tell me what this dyno thing is? I just got my car on Thanksgiving and I have a LOT to learn, but I do live in Bellevue so would love to meet some more RX8rs.

It's a computer controlled machine that you drive your car up on, then they strap the car down, and you tune your car for Air Fuel Ratios, or you push your car to it's limits to test it's rear wheel horsepower.

Please at least show up, there will be plenty of RX8 knowledgable people there to help answer all your questions. You can watch for awhile. Bring your own coffee though, because I remember their coffee was BAD.

Chow sounds good depending on when everyone finishes up. I'm having the shop guys install my sway bars while I'm there so I'll likely be there long before 10am. In any event, bring doughnuts. . .!

Yeah - figure we should finish around 2? 3 maybe -depending on who shows up. I'll bring a case of Diet Coke and probably a box or two of Krispy Kremes to snack on during the pulls.

I'll be there to watch and chat. I just started a new position, and after 9.5 months of trying to contract (unsuccesfully), I won't be spending the $80, yet.

Okay Folks! Getting down to the wire.

I've invited a few other car-guys and their cars to get in on the discounted rate for the day.

The Agenda for the event will go something like this:

0945 - 1000: arrive, chit-chat, etc.
1001 - Complete: RX8 Dynos.
After last car, we'll head out to lunch.

Simple, eh? I'll spring for two dozen Krispy Kremes - would somebody buy a box or two of brew/drip coffee? I'll bring foam cups and napkins.

I might have the furthest to travel, so maybe someone else can help with the coffee for you. I'll have my thermos with me.

I will not be dynoing the race exhaust as originally planned. I will be going for "Dyno Queen" numbers only it seems. If Dannobre can help me with the Wideband install, we can data log the Innovative vs. the OEM and see how close they are. So, maybe I should go last on the rollers.
