Oy... Just a heads up... I'm starting to feel like I'm coming down with something!
I'm trying to figure out if I'm just wimping out due to my fear of getting another ticket, or if I'm really getting sick. I DID, however, spend 2 full days last week at 2 different high schools, so it's totally possible I picked up a bug there.
I hate being sick. Eyes hurt, headache, stuffyness, sore throat...

* Fauntleroy --> Southworth ferry
* Highway 3 south to Shelton/101
* 101 north to Potlatch
That looks like the most direct route. Highway 3 is mostly a two lane road but there's no one out there on a Sunday.

Cool. We'll probably see you on the 8:25 ferry then! I looked at the schedule and there's the 8:25 and then the next one is at 10:00. so it looks like the 8:25.

Hope you guys have a great drive tomorrow. Unfotunately I can't go since my 8 still only has half a bumper because of the accident. I'm bringing it to the shop on Monday to put in a new front end. Plus I just ordered the MazdaSpeed dual muffler sport exhaust and will be installing it next week.
Drive safe, rev your 8's like hell, and hope to see you guys in the next drive.

I obviously wasn't there today. Work happened. The London Stock Exchange had an issue come up during their beta rollout of this solution that I'm supporting. Sucks *** to be me. I had to help them get fixed and make sure everything was going to be cool for the rest of the weekend. Sorry for not showing up, I feel lamer than normal right now.

To try and make myself feel better I drove up a local twisty road that is marked at 25MPH at 70MPH twice tonight.... and on one of the trips through the road a cop was going down at something like the speed limit...

We definitely time it PERFECT for the weather. 10:30 raining, 10:45 raining, 10:59, no rain, but clouds. Left the park, drove through a brief rain-squall in Hoodsport, then clear skies and sunshine the rest of the way. Had lunch, and then it was raining again.
Note: Camping in February may not be the best idea I've ever had. Cold, wet, and the extra weight behind the rear axle had my suspension bottoming out fairly consistently. The front end was wondering and pushing like a cat with ADD and a chip on its shoulder. I'll have to figure something else out next time I try to pull a similar stunt.
But at least my sleeping in the rain appeased the weather gods enough to get us a good drive.

Well...we actually lost the Solsti. We stopped at one point and for some reason we all started to leave and one of them wasn't ready to go and didn't follow. The other I think was hanging back to help them catch up and we lost them in the back roads.
Later we passed one of them waiting for us (I assumed) on the side of the main road but we went by, honked, waved etc. and they didn't follow. Not sure what happened...

Yeah, Bill posted at SolsticeForums. Apparently he and Lori got separated at Thorndyke (the right hander that almost caught us all off guard). I guess they both went to the brewery and had lunch, we just missed them.
