I'd love it if you ran a compression test on my car! Aipex8 and I are planning to go as well.

 

If they have a spare lift we could use to get at the plugs, it would make it easier. Being a contortionist trying to thread the sensor fitting into the plug hole from the wheel well is a PITA if you ask me....

Anyone from the Seattle area going down to this BBQ Meet? I am going down there and would like to see if anyone wants to go down there together, maybe we can get a couple of RX-8's to tag along.

 

Ill be there Jcab. Im leaving friday around noon so I can beat all the traffic between Tacoma/Ft Lewis/Du pont. I want to make it to a friday night TnT at PIR. If you can muster a few hours off work and stay the night let me know.

I could/might change plans. If more people want to roll down together I might just wait, but I will want to head down at the *** crack of dawn though. We can meet up at Tacoma Mall and roll out. Im talking meet up at 530-6am. If you can roll yourself out of bed that early we can do that. Than on our way out hit up PIR for night drags. Either way I want to hit up the strip.

Not staying the night would save me 120 bucks I could use on strippers.

 

There is a slight chance i'll be out of town this weekend but if not i'll ride down with you guys.

Well I see a few names here that at the MM dyno day...Let's meet up in the morning and all roll down together? Is anyone down for that?

 

I would be okay with waking up early. And do you planning on going to the drag strip, and is open to the whomever? If so I would be okay with taking my car down the strip and seeing what it could do.

About the strippers, when and where? Im there!!!!

My plan of attack would be to leave as early as we can to get a good full day at the dyno in.

2hrs from Tacoma into Portland so if we all met up at 6am Tacoma Mall outside Krispy Kremes that would work out great. Roll out at 6:30am and roll into Portland. Maybe some of the Portland guys would like to come have breakfast with the rest of us. Than roll in as a big pack to the Dyno day.

Drags concerned. If it was like last time I went to portland there was a Sat night Test N Tune. It costs $35 for racer and $10 for anyone watching. You also have to pay another $10 for your PIR registration card which is good for one year. If it was as busy as last time you could get 30-50 passes in if you hot lapped your car like I did.

Ill be PMing most of you as the week goes on who are in the Seattle area to drive down as a pack. If you have 2way radios make sure to bring them. This prevents us from having to use cell phone tag to get each others attention if someone has to use the little boys room or needs gas OR dondo attracts cops to our no front plates.

 

Pretty good chance I'm in, I've got nothing going on the 23rd. 24th and 25th are Autocrosses

 

Looks like we'll have 3-6 cars coming down from Seattle.

Damn it. So i moved last weekend and my bro and his girl helped us out. Now he just asked me if I could help them move this Sat. Man i really wanted to go to this one. hope you guys have a fun and safe time down there.

The idea is that us Seattle guys are going to leave Tacoma at 6:30am SHARP and roll into Portland area say like 830am. Than I was hoping that the Portland guys could have another meeting spot to gather all them up. Than we meet at a Denys or IHop for breakfast together. Than roll into the Dyno as one big pack.

Im prob going to make another post about Seattle rollout times and locations.

Hopefully Pdxhak can setup a meeting location for those in Oregon. And he can suggest a good breakfast location.


Anyone against that idea of meeting for a quick breakfast before we hit the dyno?
