Good tint window shops in vancouver/portland area
hey, where did you guys get your windows tinted at? I want to get my 8 tinted. And I'm looking for a shop in vancouver/portland area who can do a good job and doesn't cost much.

I don't know any shops that do tinting in Portland, but if you're ever up this way you can see what you think about the tint job on my car. I had mine done at Accutint, they have three locations in the Seattle area.
They cut the edge nice and close to the top of the window they did a really good job blending the dotted edges and defroster lines in, sometimes unskilled tinters will leave a lot of air on the edges and over the defroster lines.
Hopefully someone from Portland will chime in.

My clear bra and tint were installed by Apex Restoration located out in Beaverton. Might be a bit too far for you...but they came recommended from more than one source, and I was very happy with their work.

It's further for you than it was for me, but I recommend Alexia's Auto Tint in Beaverton.
They do great work. The quality of the film and installation was most important to me. But I also got a good discount, because a friend and I both took our cars in together. I got my windows tinted to maximum legal darkness for WA (35% film), in the carbon ceramic. I also got the sunroof tinted 35% more than its factory tint, but using the metallic film for the extra sun blocking. It ran me $210 including the sunroof, 2-3 years ago. Many of the people from the other shops around here were trained at Alexia's.

Thanks for the info guys. That's really helpful. Seattle is a bit too far for me, but Portland/Beaverton is ok. I'll try that. How much did it cost to get your windows tinted at Apex Restoration?
