Happy Birthday dDub!
Hope you're having a good one!
Gonna make it on the run this weekend? We're gonna celebrate the winter birthdays with rootbeer toasts...

Hey sorry I missed this before, thanks for the thought!
Probably wouldn't have worked out for the meet even if I knew about it. Had a final for college Thursday, then was studying for the first half of Friday then worked until midnight, then studied all Sat morning and had another final. Then I work tomorrow (Sun)
Tis the season for people to be shopping, and since I work retail that means working all the time.

Haha thanks!
Not too many plans, I have a couple papers to write unfortunately and some studying to get done. But my ex-girlfriend and parents are taking me out tonight for dinner and such, nothing too spectacular.

Hope you had a nice dinner. Cool that your ex and everyone are still friends. Papers.... yuck! You've been in school for a while. What're you working on?

Yah dinner was great. Went to Canlis in Seattle if any of you have heard of it .
My ex and I are in a weird place, not sure if we are going to stay together or not, but we're still best friends at the same time, so she still comes to nice occasions like this.
As far as school goes... I've been going to the UW for 4 years and 1 quarter so far. I have 1 more class to take next quarter to finish up. I'm in the Business school doing a double major in Human Resources Management and Finance. Can't wait to be done!

Canlis.... NICE! I've been there once, a LONG time ago. My ex-husband's sister used to date one of the son's of the owners.
Wow, you shouldn't have any problems getting a job in either field - or did you get one already! I know you used to be working retail. Grats on being almost done - that must feel really good!

No job yet, looking into options. I want to apply to the Google Kirkland office, as well as Nordstrom corporate, but beyond that I am open to other places.
And yah I used to be an Assistant Store Manager of a clothing store, but I left that because I got tired of it. I'm now a supervisor at a Starbucks and they're putting me through the training path to become an Assistant Store Manager. It's something to do until I graduate at least, money isn't horrible as an ASM, and I'll probably be done with the training by early January.

Google and Nordstrom are pretty great places to work I've heard. Good luck.
Starbuck's is supposed to be a good place too, for that matter. Congrats in advance on ASM!
